Abstract

The paper aims to present the results of the research in elderly Internet users and their comments of the content related to love and sex in the elderly age. The content in question originates from a specialized website called Penzin focused on elderly members of society and the relevant questions related to them, thus also on those practically pertaining to this tabooed topic. Apart from the marked Internet content covering about forty thematically framed articles, researchers’ closest attention was also paid to the comments made by elderly users of the Facebook page of the website where they are allowed to confirm themselves as the active members of the social network and thus participate in the bidirectional communication process. In this manner, there is an open possibility of conducting an anthropological analysis of the demonstrated attitudes and values related to the old age and sexuality in contemporary Serbian society, as well as the public space which potentially reversibly influences their modelling, which to a certain extent distances it from the so-called socially acceptable behavior of the old, which as often as not challenges their human rights they have acquired earlier.
