ТЕМАТ: ИСЛАМ, ПОЈЕДИНАЦ И ДЕЛАТНЕ ЗАЈЕДНИЦЕ У БЕОГРАДУ НЕКАД И САД
Apstrakt
Наслов темата указује на нашу намеру да представимо радове који се баве како једним важним, а занемареним, делом културног наслеђа – османским наслеђем, тако и положајем, дискурсима и праксама београдских муслимана некад и сад. Због тога уводну реч почињемо одређивањем делова наслова. Ислам у овом наслову, поред тога што означава монотеистичку религију која потиче од учења пророка Мухамеда из 7. века, служи и да означи један широк културни и друштвени круг у који спадају заједнице и појединци, чије је живљење, деловање и мишљење обележено посредном или непосредном везом с исламом као религијом.
