Anthropology is the journal of Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade – Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology.

Anthropology is an peer-reviewed scientific journal, which publishes original articles that have not been published previously or have not yet been submitted for publishing anywhere else, in print or electronic version.

Anthropology provides research articles and scholarly reviews in Serbian and English language, on a variety of issues regarding culture, society, politics and social sciences past and present. While it maintains a primary focus on ethnological and anthropological research in Serbia, former Yugoslavia and beyond, the journal's output is not exclusively disciplinary in character. It aims to explore socio-cultural and related phenomena in a global perspective by employing, but not limited to, anthropological methods. Co-funded by Ministry of Science and Technological Development of Serbia, Anthropology is an open access journal, providing free previews and downloads on an easily navigable online platform. It aims to attain highest quality of publications, to endorse inter-disciplinary dialogue and research perspectives, as well as to support young scholars along with established researchers. Journal is freely distributed to institutions of science and culture, public libraries, and individual researchers in Serbia and abroad. It is published three times per year.
