RESEARCH OF ETHNIC MINORITIES: PERSONAL EXPERIENCES AND DILEMMAS
Keywords:
ethnological/anthropological research, methodology, field research, research of ethnic minorities, personal research experienceAbstract
Authors of ethnological/anthropological research in our country have seldom disclosed courses of their research practices to others. Such practices have stayed invisible, and mystified, especially in cases when they also involved field work. The aim of this paper is to do just the opposite: by displaying the research process (and various dilemmas and puzzles surrounding it) to views and critique of others, it will try to point out the opportunity for enhancement of space for dialogue on methodology of ethnological/anthropological research. It will also try to possibly encourage other researchers to practice the genre of "confessional prose of anthropological character" more often, with the goal of advancement of methodology of ethnological/anthropological research.
