CRNI GRUJA IDE U BEOGRAD: DEOSMANIZACIJA SRBIJE U TV-SITKOMU

Ovaj rad usvaja pogled koji je drugačiji u odnosu na dominantne narative o imperijalnom nasleđu Osmanlija u Beogradu, kolektivnom sećanju i zaboravu – procesima koji su oblikovali modernu istoriju ovog grada. To je pogled na stvaranje nacionalne države na periferiji poznog Osmanskog carstva iz savremene perspektive studija medija i popularne kulture. Predmet analize je sitkom Crni Gruja i specifičan jezik predstavljanja i tumačenja srpske nacionalne istorije koji se koristi u ovoj seriji. Premda Crni Gruja deluje kao pokušaj kreativne intepretacije srpske nacionalne istorije u popularnom postsocijalističkom i, što je još važnije, postjugoslovenskom ključu, ukazujem na to da ova serija na, još uvek, nov i zanimljiv način tumači izgradnju nacije u poznoosmanskom periodu, poziciju Beograda u tom procesu i neke segmente urbane istorije Beograda, koje zvanična istorija često marginalizuje ili prećutkuje.
