БОЈА БЕЈЗБОЛА – (МИТ О ТОМЕ) КАКО ЈЕ ИНТЕГРИСАНА МЛБ

Бејзбол је спорт који се у САД, као и широм света, посматра готово у смислу заменске значењске одреднице појмовима „Америка“ и „Амерички“. Најважније професионално такмичење у бејзболу јесте Главна бејзбол лига (МЛБ), која постоји готово век и по. 15.04. 1947. године, Џеки Робинсон је постао први Афроамериканац који је заиграо у њој. Американци то називају интеграцијом лиге, односно преломним тренутком у датом процесу. У тексту се разматра управо та процесуалност догађаја, односно митотворачко коришћење догађаја као означујућег целокупног процеса. То се чини представљањем како је дошло до расне сегрегације у америчком бејзболу, на који начин је спровођена, како се борило и изборило против ње. Показује се да се такав дискурс састоји од сличних елемената од каквих се састоје митови – од херојских актера и њихових великих дела која преокрећу ток историје, те да се преноси на истоветан начин, приказивањем историјских чињеница као образаца, а не као узрочно-последичног низа различитих социокултурних околности.
