STRUKTURNO NASILJE KAO ČINILAC JAVNOG ZDRAVLJA

Структурно насиље један je од основних теоријских појмова у савременој медицинској антропологији. Концептуално порекло му је у теологији ослобођења и мировним студијама шездесетих година прошлог века али, у облику у којем је присутан у медицинској антропологији, антропологији уопште и свим научним дисциплинама које се баве друштвеним и културним аспектима људског здравља данас, заснован је у радовима Пола Фармера. Структурно насиље сматра се битним чиниоцем јавног здравља, како у економски најсиромашнијим и друштвено најнестабилнијим земљама у свету, тако и у најразвијенијим земљама, имајући у виду то да у свакој социокултурној средини и у свакој социоекономској формацији постоје друштвене групе чији је здравствени статус угрожен различитим болестима, којима посредују изванмедицински фактори.
